PT. CALBEE INC JAPAN is a major Japanese snack food maker. It was founded in Japan on April 30, 1949. It launched operations at a new plant in the United States for making it’s mainstay products “Kappa Ebisen” shrimp chips and “Saya-Endo” snow pea crips. PT CALBEE INC decided open their first factory in Indonesia (Karawang) by cooperating with PT.WINGSFOOD INDONESIA. This project sits in a 6 hectare area. The building it self covers almost 35,000m2 of factory, office, silo, water treatment plant, etc.
